If Somnath Bharti is found guilty, party will take action: AAP

The Aam Aadmi Party is continuing to defend its leader and Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti. AAP spokesperson Ashutosh has alleged that politics is being played out against Bharti. But

AAP finally asks Somnath Bharti to mind his language. Ashutosh has said the party won’t take any action immediately. “If he is found guilty, then the party will take necessary actions,” Ashutosh said. Read Aam Aadmi Party latest Delhi News here.

 

 

Last week, Bharti along with his supporters conducted a midnight raid at Khirki extension and asked the police to arrest the Ugandan women whom he accused of being involved in prostitution and drug trafficking. The police defied the orders of the Law Minister and he in turn demanded their suspension.

The Aam Aadmi Party ordered Delhi’s Law Minister Somnath Bharti to pipe down and warned him to mind his language in future.

“We do not endorse such language and he has been clearly told to control himself. The matter had become really controversial and was taking attention away from the real cause,” a senior party leader told us.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal along with his ministers had raised the matter with Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung and Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde and demanded the suspension of the policemen. The Lieutenant Governor had ordered a judicial probe in the incident.
