AAP expels senior leader and founding member Ashwini Upadhyay

NEW DELHI: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said on Sunday it had expelled one of its leaders, Ashwini Upadhyay, due to “anti-party activities”.

The AAP said it took the step due to the national council member’s “repeated involvement in anti-party activities and his failure to respond to the show cause notice served to him”.

Upadhyay said that he has no information about any expulsion orders and he is going to hold a meeting with party volunteers and take a decision to declare Kumar Vishwas as the party convenor in place of Arvind Kejriwal.

नई दिल्ली। अरविंद केजरीवाल की जगह कुमार विश्वास को पार्टी का संयोजक बनाने की मांग करने वाले पार्टी के नेता अश्विनी उपाध्याय को आम आदमी पार्टी ने बाहर का रास्ता दिखा दिया है। आज सुबह अश्विनी उपाध्याय ने दावा किया था कि जंतर-मंतर पर दिल्ली के पार्टी कार्यकर्ता बैठक करेंगे और इस प्रस्ताव पर मुहर लगेगी।

इस विवाद के बीच कुमार विश्वास का बयान भी सामने आया है। टि्वटर पर कुमार विश्वास ने अपनी ओर से साफ किया है कि अरविंद केजरीवाल उनके नेता ही नहीं भाई भी हैं। कुछ लोग मेरे और केजरीवाल के मजबूत रिश्ते में दरार डालने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं। लेकिन, ऎसे लोग कभी कामयाब नही होंगे। हालांकि, उपाध्याय ने कहा कि पार्टी से बाहर निकाले जाने वाले मामले पर अभी पार्टी आलाकमान की तरफ से कोई नोटिस नहीं मिला है।

इससे पहले कुमार और केजरीवाल के बीच दूरी बढने की खबरें भी आ रही हैं। कुमार विश्वास पार्टी संयोजक अरविंद केजरीवाल से नाराज बताए जा रहे हैं। गौरतलब है कि केजरीवाल कुमार के लिए चुनाव प्रचार करने के लिए भी अमेठी नहीं गए। लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए मतदान में कुछ ही दिन शेष हैं। विश्वास कांग्रेस उपाध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी के खिलाफ चुनाव लड रहे हैं।

ऎसे में उम्मीद की जा रही थी केजरीवाल इस हाई प्रोफाइल सीट पर तो जरूर अपने उम्मीदवार के लिए प्रचार करेंगे, लेकिन ऎसा नहीं हुआ। वहीं, कुमार विश्वास का कहना है कि वे हर जगह प्रचार कर रहे है, अगर नहीं आए तो क्या हुआ मैं केजरीवाल से नाराज नहीं हुआ। समय नही मिल पाने के कारण वे यहां नही आ पा रहे है। लेकिन, पार्टी में गंदी राजनीति करने वाले लोगों के लिए कोई जगह नही है। कुछ लोग पार्टी में फूट डालने की कोशिश कर रहे है। लेकिन, वे अपने मंसूबों में कभी कामयाब नहीं हो पाएंगे।
